Walk into clinic with a written migraine history.
Migsy generates a doctor-ready report from your logged attacks: frequency, severity, duration, and how treatment looked over time. The goal is a page you can hand to a neurologist or GP instead of reconstructing last month in the waiting room.
What to bring besides the PDF
The export is only as good as the diary. Two to three months of consistent logs beat a perfect template with ten entries. Mention new neurological symptoms in person even if they are not in the app.
Weather context from barometric pressure can be part of the story if it actually matches your days. Do not treat a pressure dip as proof.
How this differs from a screenshot album
- One summary instead of scrolling a camera roll during the visit.
- Counts and severity over a range, not only the last dramatic attack.
- Medication timing next to the attacks you logged.
Privacy
You choose when to generate and share a report. Read the privacy policy for what the app stores. Do not email a report to an unsecured address if your clinic has a portal they prefer.
Frequently asked questions
What is in a Migsy doctor report?
The report is a written summary of logged migraine attacks: frequency, severity, duration, and treatment response, so you can share a history instead of reconstructing the last month from memory. Generate it in the app when you have Migsy Pro.
Will my neurologist accept an app export?
Most clinicians prefer any consistent log over none. A clean summary of dates, severity, and medications is easier to scan than a screenshot dump. Bring the report and be ready to answer follow-ups the app cannot see, such as disability days or new symptoms.
Is the report a diagnosis?
No. It is your data, formatted. Only a qualified clinician can diagnose or change treatment. Migsy does not submit the report to a clinic for you.
Does exporting a report require Pro?
Migsy is free to download on iPhone. Ongoing tracking — history, stats, calendar, doctor-ready reports, and weather risk — requires Migsy Pro, billed through Apple. A free trial is offered in the app; check the current price on the paywall before you subscribe.
